In alignment with the “Baku City Master Plan (2020–2040)” and the relevant State Program, significant steps are being taken to improve the transport infrastructure of Baku. This project aims to enhance the efficiency of the metro network, ensure passenger safety, and reduce urban traffic congestion through modern engineering solutions.
Scope of Services:
- Review of project documentation and quality assurance;
- Technical supervision of tunnel and underground structure construction;
- Supervision of the installation of engineering systems;
- Inspection of materials and equipment;
- Risk management and monitoring of work volumes.
Project Description:
The project entails the construction of a passage chamber and a reversing facility at the “Icherisheher” station to reduce train intervals. Additionally, a multi-story underground parking facility is being developed to address the high demand for parking in the city center.
- Tunnel Infrastructure: A passage chamber with a total length of 486.40 meters, comprising various tunnel types (“A”, “T1.3”, “T”, and “C”).
- Parking Complex: A 5-story underground car park with a total area of 10,092.00 m², strategically located near the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
